Resumo:
Saiba por que o MOQ do cone de tráfego varia conforme modelo, cor, material reflexivo, logo e embalagem, e como os importadores podem planejar amostras, pedidos mistos e carregamento de contêineres.
Minimum order quantity, or MOQ, is the smallest quantity a supplier will normally accept for a specific product configuration. For traffic cones, MOQ is not one fixed number. It changes with the model, color, reflective material, logo, packing and production schedule.
WHY TRAFFIC CONE MOQ VARIES
Standard products can use existing material, tooling and packing, so their MOQ may be lower. A custom body color, special reflective grade, printed logo, new mold or unique carton can require separate material purchasing and machine setup. MOQ may apply per model and per color, not only to the total shipment.
STANDARD MODEL VERSUS CUSTOM ORDER
Ask the supplier to separate the standard-model MOQ from the customization MOQ. A standard red or orange cone from an existing model may be available in hundreds of pieces, while a custom color or logo order may require a larger run.
CAN DIFFERENT MODELS BE MIXED?
Mixed-model orders can help distributors test demand, but the supplier must confirm whether production, palletizing and export packing allow it. Ask for the minimum quantity of each model, the total shipment minimum and any change in price or lead time.
HOW MOQ AFFECTS LANDED COST
Small runs spread setup, inspection and packing costs across fewer units. Larger runs may reduce unit cost, but only if inventory can be sold and stored efficiently. Compare landed cost, cash commitment and stock risk instead of unit price alone.
SAMPLES AND PILOT ORDERS
A paid sample or pilot order can confirm dimensions, weight, color, reflective layout and packaging before a large purchase. Record the approved specification so the bulk order can be checked against it.
QUESTIONS TO ASK IN AN RFQ
State the model or height, target weight, base size, body color, reflective bands and grade, logo method, packing, quantity and destination. Ask whether MOQ is per model, per color or per shipment; whether mixed models are allowed; and whether a custom run requires tooling or artwork charges.
PLAN MOQ WITH CONTAINER LOADING
MOQ and freight planning should be reviewed together. A quantity that meets production MOQ may not use container space efficiently. See https://www.etonda-trafficsafety.com/xwzx/info/11.html and model data at https://www.etonda-trafficsafety.com/product/info/1.html
